Shaughna Phillips gave birth to her baby daughter Lucia on April 4 this year, sweetly announcing the news via social media with a joyous post. While the Love Island star, 28, couldn't be happier with her little one, who she describes as 'my best friend', she does admit that it can be 'really lonely'.
Talking with OK! and other media at the National Television Awards, she admitted: "I wish someone had told me how lonely it can be, because it can be really lonely. It’s so exhausting when it’s just you and the baby.
Looking to the positive side, Shaughna continued: "But, I will say, the other day she woke up and looked up it me and her little face just made me cry. So, the lows are worth the highs, tenfold." Shaughna shares Lucia with Billy Webb, who was charged with drug offences in January.
The reality star said publicly that Billy 'isn't around' back in March - while there is no sign of him on her social media.
Giving more insight into her close bond with baby Lucia, Shaughna shared to OK!: "She’s my little best friend, not that she has a choice in the matter, but she is. It’s like she knows when I’m pointing a camera at her as well, she’s a little poser." However, it hasn't been a smooth ride into motherhood for the former Love Islander, as she endured a two-day labour in hospital with Lucia.
