Love Island's Paige Turley explains real reason for split with Finley Tapp

Former Love Island star Paige Turley has finally addressed her split with Finley Tapp, as she explained the real reason for the breakdown of their relationship.The 25 year old appeared on the first Love Island: Aftersun of the summer series, where host Maya Jama asked her what happened with Finley, 23, who she met on the show in 2020. Paige explained that whilst the pair are "still good friends" but that they just "drifted apart".
She went on to say that they had been together during lockdown, as she said "everything we could have been faced with, we were faced with." The aspiring singer said that she's not looking for love with anyone else at the moment. News of their split first emerged in April, as they were said to have decided that it "wasn't forever".
Until Maya asked Paige about the breakup, she hadn't publicly spoken about it. She did recently, however, post a cryptic message on Instagram.
In it, she shared a snap of black tote bag with a ‘I need my space’ graphic on it in what could have been a message directed at Finley in a since-deleted Instagram Story. Paige has since gone on her own holiday with Made In Chelsea favourite Liv Bentley, 27, who herself has recently called time on her relationship.The star has had an on-and-off romance with co-star Tristan Phipps for some time, with the pair calling things quits once again in recent weeks.
