Love Island has aired a dramatic new twist during tonight's instalment, as two couples were told they had to split up and two brand new bombshells were introduced. After an episode filled with rows and drama, it was make or break for the islanders as Maya Jama arrived to order the islanders to decide on who they thought were the least compatible couples. After an awkward reveal, Jess Harding and Sammy Root, and Mitchel Taylor and Leah Taylor were voted the least compatible and forced to stand in front of the fire pit.
As the couples panicked over their future on the island, presenter Maya announced that they would all be single and banned from recoupling with each other at the next recoupling. And what's more, the four islanders would immediately be heading out for dates with two newcomers - Mal Nicol and Montel McKenzie. Edinburgh-born Mal, 25, is a gorgeous Scottish newcomer excited to get to know Sammy and Zachariah Noble as her priority.
The brunette beauty, who works as a picture research in London now, has lamented how "exhausting" it is to date in the real world, so she's looking forward to switching it up in the villa. Asked who she's got her eye on so far, Mal shared: "I do actually like Sammy. I think he’s quite funny and his personality is coming out more - there is something about him I fancy.
"I fancy Zach as well, Zach but I wouldn’t go in too strong on him as I feel like he’ll get a bit big for his boots because he’s had a lot of female attention. "I think I’d play it cool with him," the new star went on, also praising "lovely" Welsh footballer Scott Van-der-Sluis, 22, despite the fact she usually goes for a rugby boy. Mal added that she doesn't "have a game plan" and she's not "smooth" with flirting, but
