Love Island's Mike Boateng has admitted gross misconduct while serving as a police officer for Greater Manchester Police, after claims he was racially abused whilst in the force.
The 24-year-old, who quit the force to find fame on the winter season of the ITV shows, was the subject of a misconduct hearing on Thursday.
Appearing via video link wearing a suit, Boateng admitted he lied to senior officers about being stuck on holiday in New York, when he was due to attend a night shift with GMP.
