Jack Keating's mother Yvonne Connolly has hit back at online trolls after her son made his Love Island debut on Sunday. The TV presenter and cook, 48, who also shares Missy, 21, and Ali, 16, with ex-husband Ronan Keating, took to Instagram on Monday to issue a statement. Although she didn't reference any specific comments, Yvonne pointed out that her 38.8K followers had been far more "positive" than those on Twitter as she hit back at trolls.
Posting a picture of her son, the proud mother wrote: "After the teaser I'm looking forward to watching Jack tonight on Love Island.Thank you all so much for all your comments. It means so much. My heart" followed with a heart emoji. Just days earlier, Yvonne had also posted a picture of Jack to her Instagram grid as she announced that he was going into Love Island.
She wrote: "Love island has been providing the entertainment and bringing the drama this season. Just when I thought I can’t take anymore excitement my son Jack Keating is heading in to Casa Amor tonight. (It was a hard secret to keep !!) #GoJacko." It comes after Ronan Keating admitted that he was "nervous as hell" watching son Jack, 23, enter Love Island.
