'Love Island's Gemma's dad Michael Owen doesn't like Luca', says expert

Love Island's Luca Bish has reportedly finally met beau Gemma Owen 's famous footballer father, Michael Owen. A "nervous" Luca, 23, and his 19 year old squeeze have flown out to the Algave, Portugal, to visit the Owen family's luxury villa in Quinta Do Lago, and to reportedly spend some quality time with Gemma's parents, dad Michael and mum Louise.

Love Island star Remi Lambert has claimed that fellow Islanders Luca Bish and Jacques O’Neill are “still mocking” him following their time in the villa. Remi, 22, has previously been vocal about his feelings towards Luca and Jacques and recently accused the pair of “bullying” him after they spoke about his rapping skills while on an Instagram Live together. Luca and Jacques, both 23, went live on Instagram earlier this month where they opened up about their time in the villa before turning their attention to discussing Remi’s rapping after a viewer asked the pair to have an MC battle.

Michael Owen has managed to avoid meeting his reality star daughter Gemma's boyfriend Luca Bish by jetting off on holiday.The 42 year old former professional footballer, who had only just reunited with his daughter following her time in the Love Island villa, took to his Instagram feed to announce he had flown off to hotter climates. Sharing a snap of himself dressed in a black T-shirt with his arms folded as he sat in a restaurant, he simply told his 427,000 followers he was out catching "a few days of sun," with a sunglasses emoji.

Luca Bish has addressed his "protective" behaviour of Gemma Owen on this year's Love Island in an Instagram live video shortly after leaving the villa.The 23 year old was subject to tweets accusing him of being protective of 19 year old Gemma during their time on the hit ITV2 dating show, where they finished in second place.They were beaten only by Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, both 27, who won with a landslide 63.7% of the vote. After leaving the villa, Luca and fellow finalists Andrew Le Page and Dami Hope hosted an Instagram live, showing the finalists getting ready to jet back to the UK.

Love Island's winning couple Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti certainly looked happy as they headed back to the UK.Taking to her Instagram stories, Ekin-Su shared a video of Davide hugging and kissing her, while she said: "England baby." Davide can also be heard saying: "We're coming," to which Ekin-Su adds: "We're coming to the UK." According to ITV figures, Ekin-Su and Davide won the Love Island final by 63.69% of the final vote. While runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish received 14.47% of votes, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope had 11.77% of the votes and Tasha and Andrew had 10.07%.

After eight long weeks of dates, bombshells and drama, Love Island 2022 has come to an end with Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu taking home the crown.The pair took home the £50,000 prize fund while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish came in second place, with Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope coming in third place and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page in fourth place.
