Love Island is set for more explosive scenes on Friday night as Jess Harding confronts Sammy Root over his "unfair" love triangle. Fans will recall that Jess, 22, has been in an on-off romance with Sammy, 22, ever since he entered the villa as a bombshell.
Just when it looked like the couple were rekindling, Casa Amor threw a spanner in the works and Sammy decided to recouple with new bombshell Amber Wise, who is the daughter of famous footballer Dennis Wise. During Friday's episode, Jess gets frustrated that she's in yet another love triangle with Sammy after he previously explored connections with Leah Taylor and Mal Nicol.
As the Islanders head into the garden for another evening in the villa, Jess is keen to gain clarity on her situation with Sammy as she issues an ultimatum. Now that he is coupled up with Amber, Jess wants to know exactly where she stands, saying to Sammy: "I wanted to talk to you…realistically I don’t want to be in this situation anymore… "I just feel like I’m in another triangle and I can’t be bothered with it anymore Sammy.
If I put you in three triangles, with three other boys you wouldn't have it… I want someone who 100% wants me." Sammy tells Jess he needs more time to get to know Amber but she interjects by giving him an ultimatum. Jess says: "It’s not fair… I’m not going to beg for you to choose me.
If you don’t want me that’s ok but I’m not being in a triangle anymore!" Will Sammy finally make his decision or will his head continue to be turned by Amber? This isn't the only drama as a furious Ella Thomas confronts Tyrique Hyde as he makes a move on Kady McDermott. In a first look teaser released at the end of Thursday, it sees Tyrique, 24, cuddle up to Kady, 27, as he plays with her hair.
