Love Island 2023 kicked off earlier this week, with the hit ITV2 show returning for its 10th series. As the show launched, host Maya Jama welcomed the latest ten Islanders to their new stunning villa, where they’ll be residing for the next couple of weeks.
This year’s line up is rather impressive, from a Corrie star’s daughter to a model, who has worked with Brad Pitt, and there's sure to be plenty of drama, carnage and pure entertainment ahead. Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to point out the amount of times the singletons all say "like". One tweeted: “@LoveIsland LIKE LIKE LIKE [eye roll emoji]” while a different account put: "How many times are they going to say “Like” #Loveisland." A different viewer said: "I swear all they say is ‘like’ #LoveIsland." While another added: “Do the contestants know any other words apart from “like” or the phrase “do you know what I mean”? Like guys do you know what I mean? see what I did there #LoveIsland”.
Elsewhere during the episode, newcomer Zachariah Noble picked Catherine Agbaje, 22, to steal from André Furtado in the first dramatic recoupling of the latest summer season. The hunky bombshell, 25, who arrived with presenter Maya following a night of playing dares in the villa, had 24 hours to decide on who he wanted to share a bed with and get to know better.
While he spent some time getting to know everyone, it appeared he had the closest connections with Catherine and Ella Thomas, 23. Revealing his reasons for why he chose Catherine,
