Love Island's Paige Thorne left viewers baffled on Wednesday night's episode over her unusual choice of name for her villa baby with Adam Collard. During the latest episode, the contestants were tasked with looking after fake babies for the day, where they had to name, dress, feed, comfort and play with the dolls.
Deciding what their baby should be called, Adam said: "As he calms himself down, I think we both know what the baby name is..." To which Paige responded: "Sage! Yeah, it's not up for discussion. I'm glad you're on board!" With Adam joking: "Yeah...
if he gets bullied in school, it's on you!" He added in the Beach Hut with Paige: "Well, baby names were already spoke about apparently... I mean do you want to explain that one?" To which Paige explained: "I just like the name Sage, it rhymes with Paige and yeah, it wasn't up for discussion really, was it?" With Adam joking: "That was it, had no input with that one!" Viewers were left just as baffled as Adam as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One person said: "Someone seriously named a child 'Sage'? #LoveIsland." A different account put: "'Sage' #LoveIsland" with a confused emoji. Another viewer wrote: "Sage? Sage???#LoveIsland" followed with laughing emojis.
A different show watcher said: "How’s Sage doing… I’m sorry I can’t take this serious #LoveIsland." While another viewer added: "Sage? Lmao Paige please #loveisland." Become an OK!
