Love Island fans were left shell-shocked as Gemma Owen dropped a bizarre claim about the calories in sperm. The 19-year-old relaxed with her co-star Paige Thorne on bean bag chairs, when she shared the strange piece of knowledge, much to the horror of viewers at home.
In the clip showed on Love Island: Unseen Bits, the dressage rider said: “I heard that if you swallow that has as much calories as eating two burgers.” A disgusted Paige replied: “What? No. Really? That is dirty.” Iain Stirling piped in with a hilarious comment in the voiceover, as he joked: “I have put on weight since being here in Spain but I assure you it really was from eating too many burgers.” Fans of the ITV2 dating show rushed to Twitter to share their confusion about Gemma’s X-rated fact.
“Did I hear that correctly? Swallowing had the same amount of calories as 2 burgers? Gemma love you’ve been lied to #LoveIsland” one penned. As another added: “Where is Gemma getting her facts from… 2 burgers?!! #LoveIsland." A third fan wrote: “I don’t think that’s right Gemma” as a fourth added: “Gemma no, I haven’t heard that before #LoveIsland.” “Hearing Gemma talk about swallowing is something I didn’t need to hear,” a viewer stated.
It’s not the first controversial comment that Gemma has made that made viewers feel a bit queasy. The daughter of the England striker Michael Owen said that she would “lick” a “horse’s a***” for £2,000.
The unusual comment came after Indiyah Polack asked the female Islanders if they would lick a “pig’s bum hole for two grand.” Become an OK! VIP and see all our exclusives - for free! Become an OK!
