Love Island star Dr Alex George is adding some humour to his rounds working on the NHS frontline, by wearing his shirtless promo shot on his scrubs.
Dr Alex, an A&E doctor who was a contestant on the hit ITV2 dating show in 2018, says COVID-19 patients are often frightened by the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) worn by staff.
So he decided to attach a photo of himself from Love Island while working in ICU so that patients can put a face to the person caring for them.

With Love Island now airing twice a year, the stars that the ITV series creates have less time to cash in on their fame.
ITV’s Love Island is likely to come out in August of this year, and could even be filmed in the UK instead of the sunny surrounds of Spain.
