Love Island Amy Hart wears wedding dress that 'wasn't right' for big summer ceremony on red carpet

Love Island's Amy Hart stunned on the BAFTAs 2024 red carpet in a strapless ivory gown, that she revealed had been in the running to be her wedding dress.
The 30 year old star is due to marry her fiancé, Sam Rason, this summer, and she's been on the hunt for her dream wedding dress. Speaking exclusively to OK! at the event on Sunday, 12 May, Amy explained how she ended up wearing the dress, which featured a low-cut neckline and hand painted flower detailing.
She said: "I tried it on as a wedding dress, but then I didn't think it was wedding-y enough but please can I have it for the BAFTAs. "It's silk and has hand-painted flowers, I love it." She went on to say: "Life is really good at the minute.
I've got my little boy, got my fiancé - we're getting married this year." Amy met 33-year-old tech entrepreneur Sam in 2021 and announced that the pair were expecting their first child in an episode of Loose Women in August 2022. Sam then got down on one knee in September last year and asked the former cabin crew member to marry him.
With a new series of Love Island fast approaching, Amy, who starred on the show in 2019, issued some advise to the new Islanders going into the villa this summer, saying: "Just enjoy it." According to a show insider, the latest series is set to launch on 3 June, meaning it’s just under nine weeks until another batch of lovelorn contestants enter the villa in the hope of finding their perfect partner.
