'Loutish' woman bit neighbour and dragged his girlfriend to the ground during row in street

A drunken and "loutish" woman viciously attacked two of her neighbours in front of their young children. Shantell Featherstone bit a man on the arm during a bad-tempered confrontation in the street and later tried to grab his girlfriend by the throat, causing her to fall to the ground and chipping her front tooth.
The 46-year-old ignored all attempts to calm her down and kept falling over because of the sheer amount of alcohol that she had downed, a court heard. Stephen Robinson, prosecuting, said that there had been no previous problems between the victims and Featherstone, and that she was normally friendly.
The man became aware of a commotion outside in the street and saw that Featherstone was arguing with another neighbour. He went to investigate and there was a confrontation between him and Featherstone.

Featherstone was guided away but she later kept coming in and out of her house, shouting and saying that everyone was "fake". She seemed to be heavily drunk and fell over a number of times, Hull Live reports.
Neighbours in the street laughed at her and she approached the man's house, shouting at him. His young children were nearby. "They were upset and started crying," said Mr Robinson.
The man decided to escort Featherstone home but she lunged at him. He spun her around so that she was not facing him but she grabbed hold of him as he tried to walk her to her house and she bit him on the arm, ripping a hole through his T-shirt and causing bleeding. "He pushed her away," said Mr Robinson. "He told her to go home."
