They'll need to get the better of his old club, first, though, and the former Scotland midfielder knows that will be no easy task.
He said: "I was doing punditry that day so I was suited and booted.
“Obviously when you see success, anyone not just your brother, just teams enjoying a good day and lifting cups, it’s always something you look on and think, I’d love a part of that, it would be a great day.
“There’s a tiny bit of jealousy in that I would love to saviour that for myself but not for him, I was delighted for him on the day.
“I was in the changing room after the game, I hadn’t long left so I knew most of the boys. I went down to the changing room to see them all, I didn’t join in with the celebrations but I was in the middle of it and just congratulated them all.
“You still feel a bit attached to it and I knew the boys well and my brother was the captain. Inverness were brilliant for me, great club and loved it up there, a nice place."
He senses the similarities between that Inverness side - consistently punching above their weight - and his current employers which gives him even more belief the Lions can lift silverware.
