A man has admitted suffocating a four-year-old girl and assaulting her to the danger of her life. The child suffered two broken arms and extensive bruising in the attack by Sean Lochrie in a flat in Paisley last year.

A police search operation has been launched to trace a missing man last heard from four days ago.
Dylan Bodart, 24, was last spoken with at around 10pm on Tuesday, January 31. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Officers investigating his disappearance say he is known to frequent the Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Glasgow areas. Dylan is described as 6ft, of a slim build and has short, brown hair.
He is believed to be wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and speaks with a South African accent.
Sergeant Gary Mackie, from East Kilbride Police Station, said: “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Dylan was reported missing but so far he has not been located. We would like to appeal to anyone who may be able to provide any information regarding his whereabouts or potential sightings which could assist us in tracing him.
“I would also ask Dylan himself to get in contact with friends, family, support services or the Police. Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 1181 of 3 February, 2022.”
