Klopp said that such unlikely acts can still happen but admitted that should United finish above them and gain a top-four place, it would be well-earned. Referencing Alisson’s header, he told a press conference on Friday: “Miracles happen.
“Again though, it [a top-four finish] was in our hands. Now we have to win but maybe nothing changes. Weeks ago, Champions League was completely out of sight but we have got closer.
“But if Newcastle and Manchester United finish the season above us, they deserve it. It's just about us winning. That's it.”
Klopp sees his side take on Aston Villa and Southampton in the final games of the season after the trip to Leicester. Meanwhile, United take on Bournemouth, Chelsea and Fulham post-Wolves ahead of the FA Cup final with Manchester City on June 3.
