Maggie Rogers has opened up about David Byrne’s collaboration on her video for ‘That’s Where I Am’, in a new interview with NME.For this week’s Big Read, Rogers opened up about Byrne’s cameo and how it came about. The musician recalled how she “cold emailed” Byrne to see if he would be up for collaborating on the work and was surprised when she got a response.“I cold emailed him,” Rogers explained. “We’d never met. Bullet For My Valentine have returned with ‘No More Tears To Cry’, the latest preview of an upcoming deluxe reissue of their self-titled 2021 album.In a statement, the band described ‘No More Tears To Cry’ as “a dark but colourful story about dealing with mental health struggles”. Phoebe Bridgers was joined on stage by Maggie Rogers and Rina Sawayama during her set at Latitude this weekend.The ‘Punisher’ singer-songwriter played a 12-track headline slot on the BBC Sounds Stage at the Suffolk festival on Friday night (July 22).Footage has since emerged of Rogers and Sawayama – who were both also playing at Latitude that same day – contributing to a live airing of ‘I Know The End’, which served as the final song of Bridgers’ show.Elsewhere, the LA artist shared an image of herself backstage with the pair.
