Interpol have shared another new song from their forthcoming seventh album, ‘The Other Side Of Make-Believe’.The band have posted a follow-up cinematic video directed by Van Alpert (who has worked with the likes of Post Malone and Machine Gun Kelly) for the track ‘Something Changed’, which continues the story from their comeback single ‘Toni’.Frontman Paul Banks said of the video: “In ‘Something Changed’, part two of our short film with Van Alpert, reality and reverie converge and our two lead characters find themselves in a kind of dream state – being pursued inexorably by an ominous figure (played by myself.) The lives of the three are intertwined in a nebula of fear, retribution, desire, and defiance. Who will receive their just deserts? Jack Johnson has announced the release of his first new album in five years, ‘Meet the Moonlight’ – listen to lead single ‘One Step Ahead’ below.The US singer-songwriter’s eighth studio album – the follow-up to 2017’s ‘All The Light Above It Too’ – will arrive on June 24 via Brushfire/Republic Records.Johnson made the album with acclaimed producer Blake Mills (Lana Del Rey, Weezer, Norah Jones), recording it at Sound City and EastWest Studios in Los Angeles and Johnson’s Mango Tree studio in Hawaii.“When Blake and I first got in touch we’d send each other playlists, and over time we realised we were drawn to music that sounds effortless despite all the effort put into making it,” Johnson said in a statement.

Numbers updated this morning by the CDC indicate that the percentage of new Covid cases across the United States tied to the even more transmissible BA.2 variant has jumped from 23% in early March to 35% this week. On the positive side, that means the rate of increase has slowed from two 100% jumps over the previous month to a little less than 50% in the past two weeks.
