Kevin Costner’s departure from “Yellowstone” may be a bit complicated.
The Post exclusively reported that “Yellowstone” will end after five seasons. This comes amidst rumored tension between Sheridan, 52, and Costner, 68. On Friday, a source told the Daily Mail that Sheridan developed a “God complex” on the set of his hit Paramount Network show. The source alleged that Costner, who is also an executive producer on the show, felt dismissed when he raised concerns about the direction that the story was taking — and that he was told to “stick to acting.” However, “Kevin will forever be proud of and grateful for ‘Yellowstone’ and the cast is like family to him,” the source told the outlet. “He just felt like ‘Yellowstone’ is headed in a direction that was not in line with their initial vision, and he was met with criticism, including that he should just stick to acting.”No date has been set yet for when filming will begin for the second half of the final season. The ranching family drama, which follows John Dutton (Costner, who won a Golden Globe for the role) and his adult kids, including Beth (Kelly Reilly), Kayce (Luke Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley) and the late Lee (David Annable), has been a smash hit. Sheridan’s breakout hit has spawned several spinoff shows, including “1883” starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill; “1923” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren; the upcoming “6666;” and yet another spinoff, whose title has yet to be announced, starring Matthew McConaughey.
“Yellowstone” will end after the second half of its fifth season — reportedly amidst tension between star Kevin Costner and series co-creator Taylor Sheridan for reasons vaguely hinted at in various press reports. The issue here is not so much that “Yellowstone” will call it quits — every show runs its course, eventually, and it’s always best to go out on top.But it’s the Shakespearean fashion in which this drama is playing itself out, both offscreen and in front of the cameras. Not one single frame has yet to be shot for the series’ swan song, and that’s a shame. “Yellowstone” fans, who’ve embraced John Dutton (Costner) et al.
Helen Mirren had no clue who she would play in the Paramount+ series 1923 because creator Taylor Sheridan likes to build characters around the actors who are cast to play them.
With just six episodes left in Yellowstone Season 5, there’s a lot of ground to cover.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's high-profile breakup, a source tells ET that the amicable split was initiated by the pop star. «Taylor and Joe are in totally different places in their lives right now,» the source tells ET. «It was more of Taylor's decision to break up, but both of them realized that they weren't completely right for one another. They had been together for such a long time and were spending so much time together, but their personalities were just too different.

Jordan Moreau After being presumed dead at the end of Netflix’s first “Extraction” film, Chris Hemsworth is back (surprise!) as black ops mercenary Tyler Rake for another high-octane mission. In the first trailer for “Extraction 2,” Hemsworth’s Rake is revealed to be alive, and he’s wasting no time getting back to action. He brutally beats people down with a riot shield in what appears to be a prison break, uses the shield to deflect a fiery molotov cocktail, then proceeds to punch rioters with his burning fist. Director Sam Hargrave returns for the sequel, as do producers Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously teamed with Hemsworth on “Avengers: Endgame.” After making his directorial debut with the first “Extraction,” the follow-up is Hargrave’s second film. He previously worked as a stunt coordinator with the Russos on “Avengers: Endgame,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Captain America: Civil War.”
uncertainty about the future of the beloved drama following reporting that Costner’s time on “Yellowstone” could be coming to an end as the franchise, which currently includes spinoffs “1883,” “1923” and the unaired “6666,” eyes a new extension starring Matthew McConaughey. When the report circulated in February, a Paramount spokesperson told TheWrap that there was no news to report and issued the following statement: “Kevin Costner is a big part of ‘Yellowstone’ and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come. Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built.
Missing in action? Amid speculation surrounding Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone future, the actor and show creator Taylor Sheridan dropped out of their planned PaleyFest appearance on Saturday, April 1.
Emily Longeretta The “Yellowstone” drama continues. The main cast of the show, along with creator Taylor Sheridan, were expected to attend PaleyFest in Los Angeles on Saturday evening — but unexpectedly didn’t show up. About 30 minutes before the red carpet was supposed to begin at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, press was let in and given a tip sheet with four only cast member names on it: Josh Lucas, Wendy Moniz, Mo Brings Plenty and Dawn Olivieri. Additionally, Paramount Network development president Keith Cox was also attended, but did not speak to press on the carpet. The original list of those who were supposed to be there included Sheridan and executive producer David Glasser, as well as the show’s stars Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Gil Birmingham and Jacki Weaver. Variety was told that the cast could not attend due to scheduling conflicts.
It was no April Fool’s joke to Yellowstone fans expecting to meet the leading cast at PaleyFest in LA when they were a no-show.
A few months ago, it was reported that there might be a Yellowstone spinoff with Matthew McConaughey in the works from Taylor Sheridan, and in a new interview, Paramount Network boss Chris McCarthy is confirming that it’s actually happening.

Taylor Swift quietly made donations to food banks in cities where she was playing shows for her ‘Eras’ tour. The tour kicked off last week in Glendale, Arizona, which was temporarily named ‘Swift City’ in her honour, and it was reported on Monday (March 20) that while she was there, she made a sizeable donation to the Arizona Food Bank Network.Swift didn’t publicise the donation, but news of her generosity became known when the food bank told local news outlet AZ Central what happened.“It’s not every day that you get a call from someone who works in PR for Taylor Swift, so we were dubious at first, but happily, it turned out to be absolutely real,” said Terri Shoemaker, Vice President of External Relations at the Arizona Food Bank Network.Shoemaker said Swift’s PR agent had told her that Swift planned to make a positive impact in the communities where she was touring, beginning with Arizona’s food banks. One in nine people and one in six children in Arizona struggle with food insecurity, according to Shoemaker.A few days later, a food bank in southern Nevada, Three Square, revealed that Swift had also left them a large donation ahead of her ‘Eras’ gigs in Las Vegas last night (March 24) and tonight (March 25).“We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling grateful on this day, March 22!” the organization wrote on its official Instagram feed.
