Lil Wayne's 'Funeral' Aiming for No. 1 Debut on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

Last month, Lil Wayne returned with his long-delayed album, Funeral. While the 24-song tracklist was stacked with notable appearances by the likes of Lil Baby, Big Sean, and Jay Rock, it turns out the New Orleans rapper has more big-font guest spots in the vault.

While Justin Bieber’s Changes is set for a No. 1 debut on next week’s Billboard 200 chart (dated Feb. 29), three more albums are aiming for top 10 bows: A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Artist 2.0, Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush and Monsta X’s All About Luv, according to industry forecasters.

Chance the Rapper headlined the 2020 NBA All-Star Game half-time show on Sunday as the annual event arrived in his hometown of Chicago. Chance was joined on stage by Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, and Quavo.

During his set, Chance was joined by Lil Wayne for a rendition of the Coloring Book hit “No Problem.” Later in the performance, Quavo and DJ Khaled hopped onstage to sing “I’m the One.” Chance was supported by backup singers as well as a marching band and color guard dancers.

The NBA today announced that Jennifer Hudson will perform a special tribute to the late Kobe Bryant at the All-Star Game on Sunday at Chicago’s United Center. 
The tribute will also honor Bryant’s daughter Gianna and seven others who died with them in a helicopter crash on Feb. 26.

Lil Wayne made heads turn Sunday night during the post-Super Bowl season 3 premiere of Fox's The Masked Singer when he took off the Robot head and revealed his identity in the first elimination of the season. And since it started last year, the show has thrived off its head-turning unmasking moments.

Tonight immediately following the 2020 Super Bowl, the new season of The Masked Singer premiered on Fox. One contestant called the Robot came out and sang the Lenny Kravitz song “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” The judges guessed that it might be Shaun White, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Flavor Flav, or Floyd Mayweather. It was Lil Wayne. Once unmasked, Wayne explained that he picked the Robot costume because he thought his kids would like that character the best. Watch his performance below.

When Lil Wayne took the stage at the Delano in Miami Beach on Friday night (Jan. 31), it was already raining. By the time he finished his roughly 40-minute set, severe thunderstorm warnings were in effect throughout Miami, and the streets of South Beach were starting to flood.
