Fans are growing more and more concerned after a concerning new update has happened amid news that Lil Tay (aka Claire Hope), viral influencer and rapper, had passed away at 14.
Insider reported that the LA police department and the medical examiner, “had no information on an investigation into the death of anyone named Claire Hope.” Similarly, they claim the Vancouver Police Department also had no reports of a death or investigation.

Her father, Christopher, spoke on the phone with the New York Post and would not comment on the death or any death investigation.
“Yeah, you have the right person, but I don’t have any comment right now. I’m not able to give you any comment right now. I’m sorry — I can’t.”
When asked if someone else could confirm Lil Tay‘s death, he said, “Um, no, not that that I’m aware of.
“Sorry, I can’t really comment or give you any help — I’m just going to let you go,” he said, before hanging up.
Lil Tay‘s former manager, Harry Tsang, also refused to comment.
“Given the complexities of the current circumstances, I am at a point where I cannot definitively confirm or dismiss the legitimacy of the statement issued by the family,” he said. “This situation calls for cautious consideration and respect for the sensitivities involved. My commitment remains focused on delivering updates that are both reliable and appropriately timed.”
