Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has announced she's visiting the UK on her world tour next year - including a huge gig in Manchester.

Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift‘s friendship quickly made headlines in 2021 as they went viral several times for their online interactions.
However, in the past few years, not much has been publicly said about one another in the press. If you don’t know, in July of 2021, Olivia ended up giving Taylor a writing credit for her hit song “Deja Vu” after she previously said the bridge of the song was inspired by Taylor’s hit, “Cruel Summer.”
Fans noticed that Olivia had not been recently seen at the Eras tour, but it was unclear if she had attended.

In a new interview, Olivia was asked point blank if she had seen any of Taylor Swift‘s shows. If you don’t know, Taylor just wrapped up the first leg of the tour, which spanned numerous stadiums weekend after weekend from March 2023 until August 2023. She played cities including Los Angeles, the NYC area, the Boston area, and more.
When the New York Times asked if she’d seen the Eras tour yet, Olivia responded, “I haven’t yet,” citing that “she’d been busy.” She then said, “I’m going to Europe this week.”
The NYT also cites that Olivia did get to catch Tori Amos live with Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent) in July. The NYT further says that St. Vincent is a “heroine who has become a mentor.”
