Lidl shoppers have shared their shock over the 'disgusting' price of a packet of ham.
One customer shared a photo of the 400g packet of ham she saw in store with a price tag of £4.49.
Her post, in a budgeting Facebook group, attracted the attention of hundreds of shoppers who shared their disbelief over the cost and said they have noticed prices rising steeply at the budget supermarket.

"When I saw it last week I thought they had made a mistake," said one shopper. "Then I read it and said no way Jose! It’s a joke surely."
"Noticed that today. Disgusting prices," said another, while a third said she 'nearly hit the floor' when she saw the price.
The cost of the 400g packs of smoked ham, honey cured ham and smoked chicken were selling for around £3.99 a few weeks back.
Some customers did point out that this is a more expensive product to the cooked ham it sells for £1.99, so is probably better quality. That too has increased in price recently. In a comparison we did at Lidl towards the end of last year, it was retailing at £1.69 but is now almost £2.
And the price increases are forcing some shoppers to look elsewhere.
"Refuse to shop at Lidl anymore," said one. "I've moved to Asda, much cheaper."
"Lidl has got so expensive now compared to the prices before," said another.
Just last week shoppers were warned that supermarket price increases are not ending any time soon after figures showed that grocery inflation continued to climb during February, reaching a new record high of 17.1%.
Kantar Worldpanel reported that the increase over the past 12 months has added a potential £811 to annual household shopping bills.
