Let’s Eat Grandma announce UK tour, share new track ‘Levitation’

Alice Cooper has announced a month-long fall 2022 North American tour starting this September in support of his most recent album, ‘Detroit Stories’.The rocker, who is currently finishing up the spring leg of his North American tour before he tours Europe from late May to early July, announced the fall series of tour stops on his social media yesterday (April 12). Tickets for the Detroit Muscle Tour go on sale this Friday (April 15) 10am local time via Ticketmaster except for select festival tour dates.No opener has been announced for the fall tour dates, though Cooper will be joined by Buckcherry on his two New York tour dates in September.Cooper will also make stops at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Alton, Virginia, on September 9 alongside In Flames, Lamb of God and others, and at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky on September 24 with Rob Zombie and KISS as part of the tour.Cooper recently revealed back in January that he is currently working on both his 29th and 30th studio albums simultaneously – less than a year after releasing his 28th.

Billy Nomates aka Tor Maries has today (April 12) shared an emotive new single – listen to ‘Blue Bones’ below.The track comes accompanied by a new video that is directed by Tia Salisbury and features comedian Spencer Jones. It’s described as “a humorous yet emotional video about coming to the end of a relationship.”Speaking about the new track, Maries said it’s related to her experience of suffering from depression.Maries explained: “Like everything I write, after I’ve written it I spend the following months unravelling what it’s about.“I think ‘Blue Bones’ is a candid conversation with my own depression.

The Clash are set to release a special edition of their classic album ‘Combat Rock’, NME can exclusively announce.Released in May 1982 as the final album from The Clash line-up of of Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon, ‘Combat Rock’ was the punk icon’s highest-selling and highest-charting album in both the UK and US – featuring the likes of ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’, ‘Rock The Casbah’, ‘Straight To Hell’ and ‘Know Your Rights’.Now, a special edition of the album will arrive next month. New Order have launched a new official t-shirt in aid of the British Red Cross’ Ukraine Crisis Appeal.Available through the band’s official merch store, the shirt’s design was inspired by the VHS label of their Taras Shevchenko concert film, which was designed by the Peter Saville Associates agency.The gig in question was filmed in late 1981 at the Ukrainian National Home in New York City.
