RuPaul is expanding even more internationally!
The long-running Drag Race franchise is set to hit Sweden, Deadline confirmed.
The show’s producer World of Wonder is bringing the franchise to Mip TV. Swedish pubcaster SVT commissioned the show.
It will premiere in the U.S., UK and other territories on WOW Presents Plus, World of Wonder’s streaming service.
No details about judges or contestants have been revealed just yet, nor has there been a premiere date announced.
The show first launched in the U.S. in 2009, and has since expanded to Thailand, Chile, Canada, Holland, the UK, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, France, the Philippines, and Italy.
It was also just announced that the U.S. cash prize is being increased!
