Les Dennis was announced earlier today as the 15th contestant to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing line-up, however, he actually leaked the news himself accidentally last week.
The former Family Fortunes and Coronation Street star appeared on Good Morning Britain today to talk about his new Strictly stint with Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh.
But during the chat, Les admitted that he had a bit of a social media blunder and had tweeted his Strictly playlist instead of sending it over to show bosses.
Last week he just tweeted 'Strictly by Les Dennis' and went on to say that it was his "fat fingers" that caused the error and he swiftly deleted the post and hoped no one noticed.
In the tweet, Les included the playlist and captioned it with the letter V, clearly meaning to paste it elsewhere.
And on GMB, Les explained the mishap.
He said: "What happened was, the Strictly producers asked me to send a playlist of songs you might like. I'm totally hopeless with social media and all that so my daughter put it together for me, so I could send it to my agent by email but I must have done a fat finger error and put it on Twitter instead."
He went on to say that he was excited to star in the show. He said: "I'm thrilled to be doing this iconic wonderful show as I approach my 70th birthday! In my career I’ve always gone for challenges outside my comfort zone and this is the ultimate one! Can’t wait."
"It's been so hard to keep a secret! I was asked when I was in Corrie but I'm so excited about it!
"I had a knee replacement two years ago and I thought, maybe it's time to slow down, but when you get offered to do things like this you realise it puts a spring in your step. I'm excited and I'm terrified!"
