Over 55 years on since viewers were first introduced to Scooby Doo and the Mystery Gang, fans of the iconic animated series are in for a treat as the series is set to receive a brand new 21st Century update thanks to streaming giant Netflix. The mystery-solving canine has been delighting children and adults alike for over half a century, with his rag tag bunch of friends Shaggy, Daphne, Fred and Velma helping him uncover some of the most dastardly schemes and countless ghouls out there.
In the course of the franchise’s run, Scooby Doo has seen 14 animated series, 45 films, 20 video games and even 6 plays, yet still shows no signs of slowing down or losing it’s trademark appeal to global audiences. Netflix is now reportedly in talks to reboot the series as they look to commission a live-action TV show based on the original animated series So far, Scooby Doo has seen two live action film adaptations hit the silver screen, but up until now, no live-action series had been considered.
Yet this all looks set to change as bosses from the streaming service are currently reviewing a potential script to get the show into production. At the time of writing, no deal has yet been confirmed but according to Deadline, Scooby-Doo! The Live-Action Series is nearing a deal at the streamer with a script-to-series commitment.

David Gilmour has announced additional shows in Los Angeles and New York for his ‘Luck And Strange‘ shows.The soloist and former Pink Floyd guitarist took to his official social media accounts to announce a third show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on October 31, and a fourth show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on November 9.The new dates follow the previously announced dates in Los Angeles on October 29 and 30 and in New York on November 4, 5, and 6. Gilmour’s US dates will take place after his six-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall and his six-night residency at Rome’s historic chariot-racing stadium Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo).
