Lee Ryan was reportedly arrested after he had an explosive outburst on a flight to London from Glasgow on Sunday afternoon. The 39 year old is said to have kicked off during a flight into London City Airport after the cabin crew refused to serve him alcohol.
Lee went on to have a foul-mouthed rant on the British Airways plane whilst refusing to return to his seat, and “turned the air blue”, passengers have stated.The Blue singer’s disruptive behaviour was thought to have occurred for 20 minutes mid-flight and led to him being arrested for suspicion of public order offences. The Met Office confirmed an arrest following the Sunday flight.They told The Mirror: “At around 1640hrs on Sunday, 31 July, officers met a flight that had arrived at London City Airport from Glasgow.
"A 39-year-old man was arrested for a public order offence. He was taken into custody at an east London police station and was released under investigation the following day." OK! have contacted Lee's representatives for comment.
One passenger on the London-bound flight described Lee’s behaviour as “crazy” at the time, as they told The Sun: “Never mind singing with Blue, he turned the air blue with his language. "He became aggressive with the air hostesses once it became clear he wouldn’t get given alcohol.
"At one point he left his seat and started walking up and down the aisle despite being told to sit down — he even ran behind the cabin crew curtains. It was crazy behaviour."
