Eurovision viewers slam 'boring' Switzerland song and say it should be on John Lewis ad

Eurovision viewers have slammed Switzerland's entry for being "boring" - and have even suggested it'd be perfect for a John Lewis advert. The entry, Boys Don't Cry by Marius Bear, is a melancholic yet uplifting ballad. The performance featured Marius standing alone on stage against a plain black backdrop as animations of tears and a kite played behind him.The song featured lyrics about how men should connect with and express their emotions, and with a understated jazz rhythm akin to a Disney ballad, the song didn’t seem to go down too well with UK viewers. Many fans took to Twitter to express their dislike of the track, labelling it boring.
