Lauren Goodger has explained that her new tattoo was created using her late daughter Lorena's ashes. The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 35, has had Lorena's name inked on her arm alongside a butterfly in a touching tribute to her newborn daughter, who tragically passed away two days after she was born.
After showing off her new tattoo on her Stories recently, Lauren has now revealed that it was created using her late daughter's ashes. "So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes, it's something special," the reality TV star told her followers on social media.
Lauren added: "Her ashes are now tattooed in me forever," alongside a tearful emoji and a broken heart emoji. The unique tattoos, which are known as cremation or memorial tattoos, are created using a blend of traditional tattoo ink and a small amount of cremation ashes. The new tattooing method helps those who have lost a loved one to feel a physical connection to them and acts as a constant reminder of someone they've lost.
Lauren revealed that she has been working through a list full of things each day and that her new tattoo had been on her mind "everyday". Never miss a celebrity exclusive again! Become an OK!
