Lauren Goodger has reportedly moved out of her old apartment and into a house in a bid to leave "bad memories" behind. In July, the TOWIE star's daughter Lorena died just minutes after giving birth, explaining that it was the "most traumatic experience" of her life. At the time, she was already grieving the loss of her ex boyfriend Jake McLean, who died at the age of 33 in a horrific car crash in Bodrum, Turkey.
And straight after the funeral of her daughter in early August, Lauren was allegedly assaulted and left with facial injuries. Now, a source has claimed Lauren has moved out of her old apartment to "start fresh" with her daughter Larose, who has been a "rock" for her during this difficult time. "Larose has been giving her the strength to carry on," a source told Closer.
"Lauren has been incredibly brave considering everything that she's been through over the last few weeks. "They continued: "It's been the scariest time of her life. But Larose is her priority and she's like a lioness around her.
"She's moving into a new house and having a fresh start. Her old apartment holds too many bad memories so this will definitely feel like an escape. "OK! has approached Lauren's representatives for further comment.
Following Lauren's alleged assault, The Sun reported that she was staying with a friend at a secret address over fears she might bump into the person who is said to have attacked her. In a statement from Metropolitan Police, they confirmed that a man had been arrested on suspicion of assault earlier this month. The statement shared with OK! read: “Police were called at 00:37hrs on Thursday, 4 August to reports of an altercation at a residential address in Upminster, Essex.
