This Easter is the first school holiday since all coronavirus travel restrictions were lifted in the UK. Airlines have seen a boost in bookings for Easter getaways, with TUI revealing that Spain and Greece are among its most popular destinations.
Spain has so much to offer families and couples looking for a break abroad, boasting short flight times and usually sunny, bright weather. Holidaymakers also have the option of a city break or a resort getaway, on the Balearic or Canary islands.

All UK passengers heading to Spain need to complete a health control form, including children under 12 years old. If you're fully jabbed you need to show proof of vaccination (your final dose must have been administered within 270 days before travel, if not you must have had your booster jab).
You can only enter Spain for tourism purposes if you’re not fully vaccinated by showing a certificate providing evidence of Covid-19 recovery in the last six months prior to travel. Children under 12 do not need to show proof of vaccination or take a test.
But those aged 12 to 17 can provide a full vaccination certificate, a negative PCR test result or a Covid recovery certificate. On arrival into Spanish ports and airports you must show the QR code (hardcopy or digital) issued when you completed the online health control form before travel.
