Kym Marsh cheekily quipped 'not again' when she returned to Morning Live with an almost request for co-host Gethin Jones. The actress and presenter was back at the helm of the BBC One programme on Thursday (February 29) for the first time since the sad death of her father.
Kym's family issued a statement on January 12 confirming David Marsh's death, aged 78, after sharing his prostrate cancer journey. David, known as Dave, made multiple appearances with his daughter and doting wife Pauline on Morning Live, on which she is a co-host, after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help following his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2021.
In November 2023, her parents appeared on the BBC One morning programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones.
