Kym Marsh has been left 'overwhelmed' by her son-in-law's efforts in memory of her dad months after his death. The actress and presenter was left devastated earlier this year when she and her family confirmed the death of David Marsh.
The sad news came after David, known as Dave, shared his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2021. He appeared on BBC's Morning Live with Kym and his wife Pauline after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help.
In November 2023, Kym's parents appeared on the BBC One programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones before it was announced on January 12 that Dave had sadly died.

Kym's son-in-law Mikey Hoz, who is married to Kym's daughter Emilie, has since set about running the London Marathon as part of the team, David Marsh and his Moustacher's, which took place on Sunday (April 21).
On his Just Giving page, Mikey said: "This page is in memory of David Marsh, Dave to most. The most loving husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad, and the best friend you would ever know. Dave had a 3 year battle with prostate cancer and for those 3 years he fought valiantly and with a smile on his face and with always a joke to hand. He was the bravest man we knew. A hero and a legend.
"Throughout his battle he was so grateful to those who cared for him. Not least Macmillan and Prostate Cancer UK and he strived to raise awareness of prostate cancer and to ensure that other men went to get regular checks
