The 32-year-old Spencer actress is set to star in Love Lies Bleeding, which is described as a romantic thriller set in the world of bodybuilding, directed by Saint Maud‘s Rose Glass, via THR.

The movie comes from A24, which also backed Everything Everywhere All at Once, along with Film4, the feature division of the U.K.’s Channel 4.
The story is “centered on the extreme qualities it takes to succeed in the competitive world of bodybuilding,” via THR.
Kristen will play co-lead of the movie, as the protective lover of a female bodybuilder.
The project is described as “a romance fueled by ego, desire and the American dream.”
