The four will now join Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo Sorogoyen, who last week was named Critics’ Week jury president, with the group set to choose the sidebar competition’s award winners, including the Grand Prize for best feature film, the French Touch Prize of the Jury, the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star award for best actor or actress and the Leitz Ciné Discovery Prize for best short film.

The BBC's Death in Paradise spin-off Beyond Paradise became an instant hit with viewers when it first aired in February 2023. And the detective drama - which regularly attracts audiences of more than eight million - is back for a second series of crime capers.
The show follows Death in Paradise favourite DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) as he settles into a new life with fiancée Martha Lloyd in the fictional West Country town of Shipton Abbott. Each week the endearingly awkward detective and his team are faced with a new crime "with a unique puzzle at its heart", according to the BBC.
The first series saw an entire family disappearing without a trace, a woman claiming she was attacked by a suspect from the seventeenth century; the robbery of a highly prized painting and a serial arsonist with a mysterious penchant for nursery rhymes.

Kris was born on April 11, 1973 in Bath, Somerset. His father was in the RAF and the family moved around with his postings, including to Corsham, Wiltshire when the actor was four.
He also spent some time living in Canada and Germany, telling The Big Issue: "We’d always moved around because my dad was in the air force. I had a Canadian accent until I was 10. My dad still has tapes of it. Very strange. We were in Germany for a time. My dad flew transport planes and later flew the Queen – he was her navigator."
He became a boarder at Wells Cathedral School after leaving primary school.
