Koke, was brought off on the hour, took exception to this assessment and took to Instagram to send out a message to Guardiola ahead of next week’s second leg.

Rodri has underlined that the City team know they must avoid complacency ahead of the return leg against Atletico in Spain. He admitted he would have liked a greater margin of advantage going to Metropolitano but said the side wouldn’t alter their playing style.
“We know this isn't over,” Rodri said. “We are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, we all know how difficult is to go through to the next step.
“We know the opponent we have in front, the way they play is so difficult. I wish we could have scored one more goal at least, but we go there with a small advantage.”
