A cannabis farm thought to be worth over £1 MILLION was uncovered by police in Oldham on Wednesday morning (October 18) with two suspects in custody.

A knuckle-duster carrying dealer 'brought misery' to residents in a town she helped flood with drugs. Georgia O'Brien was arrested while carrying a knuckleduster, 53 wraps of crack cocaine and 30 wraps of heroin .
The 24-year-old was seen by plain-clothes officers as she dealt drugs on Halton View Road, Widnes. O'Brien, of Atwell Street, Liverpool, ran off, but was quickly detained and arrested, police said. She was also carrying a large quantity of cash at the time.
She was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. She pleaded guilty to all charges.

O'Brien appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, September 22, where she was sentenced to two years in prison. PC Chris Nicholls of Widnes Proactive CID said: "O’Brien is responsible for a transporting and supplying large amounts of Class A drugs from Liverpool to the streets of Widnes and in doing so, has brought misery to local residents in the area.
"Illegal drugs can clearly have a devastating impact on drug users but also on the local communities that surround them. I welcome the custodial sentence that has been handed to O’Brien and I hope this serves as a reminder to anyone intent on committing crime in Cheshire that we are watching, and you will be brought to justice."
