King Charles & Prince William Make Surprise Visit To Mourners Lined Up To Pay Final Respects To The Queen

Prince William and Kate Middleton have inherited a “secret” home set on an estate in rural Wales since the death of the Queen last month. Situated in a corner of Carmarthenshire, the sprawling property was bought by King Charles 15 years ago and it was a favourite place for himself and Camilla to visit.

A new photo of King Charles III with Camilla, the queen consort, and William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, was released by Buckingham Palace on Saturday, and a body language expert is weighing in on the latest royal snapshot.  The photo shows the four most senior members of the royal family smiling at the camera in black mourning clothes.  It was taken at Buckingham Palace the night before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and ahead of a state reception hosted by the king for heads of state invited to the Westminster Abbey service. The Queen died just minutes before Prince William ’s flight landed from Windsor as senior royals raced to Balmoral to be with the ailing monarch, it has been revealed. Details surrounding the Queen’s cause of death - which was attributed to old age - were officially released to the public on Thursday, with her time of death also being noted as 3:10pm.

Prince Harry reportedly turned down a dinner invite with his father King Charles and brother Prince William at Balmoral after his wife Meghan was banned from joining the family on the day the Queen died.The Duke of Sussex had insisted that his wife join him for the emotional journey to Scotland, but Charles intervened and said it was “not appropriate”, sources claim. Rather than an outright snub, it is believed that Charles felt saying goodbye to The Queen should be restricted only to close family members, with Kate, the Princess of Wales also excluded.

King Charles III has shown he is "determined" to heal the rift between his sons Prince William and Prince Harry since becoming the monarch, a royal expert has claimed. Charles became King on September 8 after the sudden passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96.

Queen Elizabeth II's funeral were full of love and historical significance. Prince William and King Charles III each left personal notes to Her Majesty atop the wreath on her coffin during Monday's funeral ceremonies. William's card was inscribed with his and Kate Middleton's monograms, while Charles' handwritten note read: «In loving and devoted memory.

King Charles III is contemplating turning the Queen's holiday home Balmoral Castle into a museum in her memory.

The King has issued a message of thanks to the nation on the eve of the Queen’s state funeral. Charles, 73, said he wanted, “as we all prepare to say our last farewell”, to offer his gratitude to “all those countless people who have been such a support and comfort to my Family and myself in this time of grief”.

King Charles III and Prince William made a surprise appearance Saturday and greeted mourners waiting in line to see Queen Elizabeth II's coffin Lying in State at Westminster Hall.The new monarch and Prince of Wales were seen shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries with mourners near Lambeth Bridge. Many of the mourners smiled and seemed genuinely surprised to see the new king and his heir.

The King and Queen Consort are visiting Wales today, as the late Queen's lying in state continues at Westminster Hall. King Charles III has begun his first visit to Wales as monarch and will start his tour by attending a service of prayer and reflection for the life of the Queen at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff. Charles arrived by helicopter with the Queen Consort and travelled by state limousine in bright sunshine to the service, which is also being attended by Prime Minister Liz Truss and leading figures from Wales.

William and Kate have arrived at Sandringham estate to greet well-wishers and look at tributes left to the Queen. Thousands of mourners have visited the Norfolk estate, where the Her Majesty traditionally spent Christmas, to leave flowers and cards since her death last Thursday.
