The monarch, who was checked in to hospital today while Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, remains in recovery, previously announced he was undergoing the treatment after discovering he had an "enlarged prostate". Now it has been announced that the King has come out of his surgery, and is recovering in his private room. Charles was seen entering The London Clinic on Friday morning with Queen Camilla at his side.
Camilla left the private hospital at 3.10pm on the same day and appeared to be in good spirits as she smiled at reporters before getting into a car. It is the same private hospital where the Princess of Wales is being cared for after her abdominal surgery, located in Marylebone. It is understood the King’s scheduled treatment has now taken place and he is doing well, according to reports.
Earlier this morning, the King was seen travelling via a private car from his home at Clarence House. Seated in the back of an official royal vehicle, Charles was pictured looking out of the window and gazing off into the distance as he was driven down the city streets.
