Kim Mi-soo Dies: Korean ‘Snowdrop’ Actor Was 29

XYZ Films, CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group closed the deal with RLJE Films last night in a competitive bidding situation following the film’s Sundance premiere.

Grid.The new teaser opens at a crime scene, with Kim Sae-ha (Seo Kang-joon of Are You Human?), detective Jang Sae-byuk (Kim Ah-joong of 200 Pounds Beauty) and a police squad chasing after what appears to be a Ghost.The trailer ends with Kim telling the supernatural entity (played by Lee Si-young), “You don’t know how I came all the way here”, as translated by Soompi. The Ghost, in turn, responds with: “Don’t get in the way.”In addition to the new teaser, Disney+ has also released a series of posters for the show.

Julie Ha and Eugene Yi’s film benefits from ample archival material, as well as latter-day input from surviving interviewees. Even so, it’s a tale ultimately more sad than inspiring, because Lee’s case embodies the odds stacked against even an exoneree adjusting successfully to civilian life after debilitating years in “the system.” With its focus on a fairly recent if little-remembered U.S.

Forecasting Love And Weather, starring Song Kang and Park Min-young.The new teaser begins with shots of Seoul drenched in rain, as the voice of a weather forecaster announces: “Just an hour ago, the cloud was only two kilometres thick.” We then see the budding romance between two weather forecasters, Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min-young) and Lee Si-woo (Song Kang), with the pair adamant on keeping their office romance under wraps.However, their secret relationship gets progressively harder to keep confidential. “This office romance is killing me,” says a disgruntled Ha-kyung, as the clip closes with the couple sharing a longing gaze.The new K-drama series is set to the two employees of the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), South Korea’s national weather forecast service, as they navigate a newfound office romance.Ha-kyung is a general weather forecaster who is especially particular about keeping her personal and professional lives separate, while Si-woo is a special reporter who is well-known in the office to be easy-going and highly intelligent.Forecasting Love And Weather is scheduled to premiere on February 12 on South Korean broadcast network JTBC, as well as globally on Netflix.

In Germany, the show was commissioned by ARD under its initiative termed “Mediathek First” for shows that launch first on its streaming platform, the ARD Mediathek.

Naman Ramachandran “7Fates: CHAKHO,” the online comic created by digital comics platform Webtoon, HYBE and K-pop sensation BTS, has surpassed 15 million views in just two days of global launch. The title is now the highest viewed title ever launched by Webtoon. “7Fates: CHAKHO,” has taken first place on Webtoon’s new and trending chart and all genre charts.

Although his works divide critics, he appears to have been recently rehabilitated among selectors (and juries) at the major European festivals.Hong’s 2020 “The Woman Who Ran” earned Berlin’s silver bear for best director.

Grid.Starring Seo Kang-joon (Are You Human?), Kim Ah-joong, Kim Mu-yul (Space Sweepers), Lee Si-young (Sweet Home) and more, Grid revolves around the police investigation of a supernatural entity (played by Lee) that surfaced in 1997 to save humankind. The entity re-emerges 24 years later, only to help a serial killer (Kim Sung-kyun) escape.“We are not looking for it, we’re making it come looking for us,” says Seo, who plays police officer Kim Sae-ha at the beginning of the clip.

All Of Us Are Dead, which will be the first to make its premiere on January 28.Among Netflix’s much-anticipated slate of releases are romance drama Twenty Five Twenty One starring Kim Tae-ri (The Handmaiden) and Nam Joo-hyuk (Start-up), and UFO mystery series Glitch starring Vincenzo’s Jeon Yeo-been.
