So many stars were at the Queer as Folk premiere during the Outfest “Outfronts” Festival!
Kim Cattrall hit the black carpet with her co-stars Devin Way, Ryan O’Connell, Fin Argus, Jesse James Keitel, Juliette Lewis, Chris Renfro, Johnny Sibilly, CG, Ed Begley Jr, Benito Skinner, and Armand Fields on Friday (June 3) at The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
The stars of the show got support for the new revival series by Cheyenne Jackson, Auli’i Cravalho, Jai Rodriguez, and Mark Indelicato, Kent Boyd, Jeka Jane, and Mollee Gray, and series creator Stephen Dunn and writer Jaclyn Moore were also at the event.
The new series of Queer as Folk will take place in New Orleans.
“I’m very proud of what we achieved in 1999, but in queer years, that was a millennium ago! As a community, we’ve radicalized, explored, opened up, and found new worlds – with new enemies and new allies – and there was so much to be said,” Stephen shared in a statement with Deadline about the show.
He added, “I thought it was about time the title belonged to a whole new generation. The 2022 show is more diverse, more wild, more free, more angry – everything a queer show should be.”

Kim Kardashian is defending herself.
Let’s go, girls! Amid Britney Spears’ rise to the pop charts, she made her feature film debut in 2002’s Crossroads.
Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Pete Davidson have been enjoying themselves on a beach holiday together. The couple, who have recently talked about ‘moving in together’ following their eight-month whirlwind romance, are living the high life while on their sun-soaked getaway. Posting a series of images to Instagram to mark the occasion, Kim, 41, simply wrote: “beach for 2”.
Kim Cattrall is headed to Netflix for a brand new series.
Kim Cattrall may not have wanted anything to do with the And Just Like That…, but clearly revivals of seminal cable shows aren’t off the table entirely.
Ramin Setoodeh Executive EditorTo many fans of “Sex and the City,” Kim Cattrall was the definition of glamorous. So perhaps it’s only fitting that her next TV project will be “Glamorous,” a Netflix series in which Cattrall will be starring as a makeup mogul.“Glamorous,” which had originally been ordered as a pilot at The CW in 2019, tells the story of Marco Mejia (played by actor, singer and YouTuber Miss Benny), a gender non-conforming queer person who goes to work for Cattrall’s cosmetics queen Madolyn Addison.
Sex and the City just won’t let go of Samantha Jones!
Sex And The City spin-off And Just Like That has teased a return for Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha Jones, in the show’s forthcoming second season.Jones, a publicist and close friend of Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw, was played by Cattrall in the original series which ran from 1998 to 2004, as well as reprising the character for the two spin-off films.Although the actress didn’t return for the 2021 sequel series And Just Like That, Samantha is referred to in several scenes and in text message conversations – a move Cattrall described as “odd”.In the opening scene, Cattrall’s absence is explained in an offscreen subplot whereby Samantha no longer speaks to her friends Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristen Davis) after moving to London. Now, speaking to Variety in an interview published Tuesday (June 7), showrunner Michael Patrick King said “yes” when asked if Samantha will “still be texting” in season 2 – although he did not specify whether that meant an appearance from Cattrall herself.“It’s all so new right now,” he explained. “One of my big rules is don’t tell things until they’re real.
Daniel D'Addario Chief TV CriticThe very first thing one sees in each episode of the new reboot of “Queer as Folk” — before the action even starts — is the handwritten name of the streamer on which it appears, with an underline jauntily appearing beneath the last four letters of “Peacock.” It’s an elbow to the ribs, or to regions further south, that comes on strong from the earliest moments of the series; do you get it? Do you? This show, about the lives of queer and trans people in New Orleans, centers that one syllable, and a few similar terms: Like the early-2000s Showtime series that preceded it (itself based on a British drama by Russell T. Davies), “Queer as Folk” 2022 is relentless in its pursuit of pleasure.
Well, this certainly seems like a conflict of interest!
Sarah Jessica Parker has opened up on her difficult relationship with former Sex and The City co-star Kim Cattrall as she said reports that they are fighting are "so painful".The 57 year old actress, who played lead character Carrie Bradshaw on the original series as well as recent reboot And Just Like That, worked with the Samantha Jones star for the full six series. The duo then continued to work together for both SATC feature films after the show came to an end. But in recent years, Kim has made her thoughts about Sarah very clear, sparking people to believe they'd embroiled in a "fight". Rather than working past their differences, Kim, 65, publicly said she refused to reprise her role as she would never work with Sarah again after their relationship turned sour during filming, and the show returned to mixed reviews with the rest of the original cast instead.
Sarah Jessica Parker is finally telling her side!
And just like that … Sarah Jessica Parker has addressed her difficult relationship with former Sex and the City costar Kim Cattrall.
Sarah Jessica Parker has heard enough about the "catfight" between her and "Sex and the City" co-star Kim Cattrall. Parker emphasized in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Cattrall is the "one person talking" about the rumored feud between the two. "I just want to say one thing, because you’ve allowed me this opportunity: it’s so painful for people to keep talking about this ‘catfight’ – a ‘fight,’ a ‘fight,’ a ‘fight.’ I’ve never uttered fighting words in my life about anybody that I’ve worked with – ever," she told the outlet. "There is not a ‘fight’ going on.There has been no public dispute or spat or conversations or allegations made by me or anybody on my behalf.
