EXCLUSIVE: U.S.-based Wonder Street and New Zealand-based Stripe Studios have struck a deal to team on a slate of unscripted TV series, kicking off the partnership with Snow Patrol as well as New Zealand Gold Diggers.

Congotronics International will release their long-awaited debut LP Where's the One on April 29. Today, after sharing the album's first three offerings — "Banza Banza," "Beyond the 7th Bend," and the title cut — over the course of the past two months, they're premiering the album's fourth and fifth singles, "Mulume/Change" and “Bombo & Stifflets” with The FADER. New Order have launched a new official t-shirt in aid of the British Red Cross’ Ukraine Crisis Appeal.Available through the band’s official merch store, the shirt’s design was inspired by the VHS label of their Taras Shevchenko concert film, which was designed by the Peter Saville Associates agency.The gig in question was filmed in late 1981 at the Ukrainian National Home in New York City. The film was named after Taras Shevchenko, the 19th century writer, poet and painter whose works championed the formation of an independent Ukraine.You can purchase the white t-shirt for £25, with a minimum of £10 from each sale being donated to the Red Cross.Last November, New Order marked the 40th anniversary of their debut album ‘Movement’ by sharing the aforementioned NYC show on YouTube in its entirety.

Peter Hook helped unveil a new mural of Joy Division bandmate Ian Curtis in Macclesfield town centre this afternoon (March 26).The bassist and co-founder of New Order cut the ribbon alongside Akse, the Manchester-based street artist who painted the mural, telling those in attendance: “I am actually very honoured to be here, and to do this, because to me it’s about time Ian came home.”The mural, funded by Cheshire East Council, is based on an original photograph taken by Kevin Cummins at The Factory/Russell Club in Hulme, Manchester on 13 July 1979. It adorns a building on Mill Street opposite Macclesfield bus station.Ahead of the unveiling, Curtis said earlier in the week: “I’m watching all the people going down the street and every single one of them is drawn to it.“Some young kids walking down had no idea who he was but now they do. Hopefully they’ll listen to the music and get the gist of what we were trying to do as kids.”Some of Akse’s other recent works include murals of the late British army officer and fundraiser Captain Tom Moore and Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford.He said it was an honour to paint the portrait of Curtis and hoped local people were excited about it.“Although I’ve been working on murals most of my life, it’s still always an incredible feeling to get to the end of the journey – well the end of my journey at least,” Akse said.

Nine Inch Nails have announced details of three new UK headline shows to take place this summer – get tickets here.The band, who are already set to play a pair of gigs at the Eden Project in Cornwall this June, will now stop in Glasgow, Manchester and London too.The new tour will begin on June 15 in Glasgow at the O2 Academy, with the Eden Project shows taking place on June 17 and 18.June 20 will then see Trent Reznor and co. playing the O2 Apollo in Manchester, before the tour wraps up the following night (June 12) at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

Unfortunately, its titular star told the New York Times it’s “not something I’m really interested in doing right now.”

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, met with Ukrainian refugees in Poland on Thursday.  Ferguson, 62, shared on Twitter that Poland has taken in about 1.7 million refugees so far. "The invasion of Ukraine is heartbreaking to watch. So many families are being separated and displaced," she wrote.
