Actress and model Kelly Brook, best known for her parts in Midsomer Murders, Smallville and Moving Wallpaper, as well as films like The Italian Job, has revealed she is embarking on a brand new career venture – presenting an ITV show with her husband Jeremy Parisi. The news comes after Kelly previously announced she would be stepping away from acting, but thankfully won't be leaving our telly screens completely.
The loved-up husband and wife duo will be fronting their very own daytime series for ITV called La Dolce Vita. In the programme, Kelly and Jeremy will swap the city life of London for the peaceful scenery of rural Italy.
Fans will watch the couple start fresh at Jeremy's family farm in Arpino, which currently is managed by his wider family. This heart-warming location also holds a special significance for Kelly and Jeremy, as it was their very own romantic wedding site in 2022. Although ITV hasn't confirmed when the new series will air, it will be shown during the day.
This news comes after Kelly openly shared that she won't be following any acting opportunities from now on, reports the Mirror. She's even said in the past how being an actress can be "exhausting" and why it can sometimes be a "terrible" job. Even though Kelly has acted in a broad range of projects since starting her acting career over twenty years ago with the movie Sorted (2000), she recently announced that she's ready to give up acting and focus on new things instead.
Reflecting on her showbiz journey, Kelly said: "I'm going to leave the acting thing. I don't like being away from home for too long. I like sleeping in my own bed and I've got my dog to look after.
