Katie Reul editor Three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone isn’t leaving Broadway. Despite her recent move to give up her Actor’s Equity card, which fans took as a sign of her impending retirement, she says she’s just taking a break. “I just gave up my equity card, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t perform on-stage,” LuPone told Variety at Netflix’s “The School for Good and Evil” premiere Tuesday. “It’s 50 years that I’ve been a member of Actors Equity, and I think I need a break from the stage.” LuPone clarified that provisions in her former membership allow her to still make guest appearances on stage in the meantime, but without being a part of the labor union, she won’t be taking any major roles on Broadway any time soon.

Issa Rae got a special treat at Usher’s show.

Issa Rae lived out every Usher fan's fantasy over the weekend. Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large BET is bringing the “Soul Train Awards” back to Las Vegas.  The channel is set to announce on Thursday that the annual event’s 2022 edition will tape on Sunday, November 13, in Sin City. The awards show aims to recognize the year’s top soul, R&B and hip hop. “Soul Train Awards” nominees, selected by a voting academy of music industry insiders, performers, and presenters, will be announced at a later date. BET also said it will adhere to local COVID-19 protocols in cooperation with Las Vegas county officials. Adam Levine isn’t shying away from work responsibilities as he deals with his cheating scandal.  According to Live Nation, Levine and Maroon 5 will be hosting a Las Vegas residency with their first show kicking off in March 2023 at Dolby Live in Park MGM.The band is scheduled to perform 16 shows beginning in March and wrapping in August 2023. The news of the residency comes after Levine and Maroon 5 were confirmed to still perform at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.The band is currently on tour, and Levine has no plans to let the scandal stop him from performing.

Maroon 5 have announced a Las Vegas residency amid frontman Adam Levine's cheating scandal. The Sugar hitmakers confirmed on Tuesday that they will headline a Sin City residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM from 24 March 2023. According to a press release, the show, titled M5LV The Residency, will be custom-designed for the auditorium, giving fans an intimate concert experience in the 5,200-seat entertainment venue.
