Speaking on ITV documentary ‘Our Queen at 90’ in 2016 the Princess of Wales said: “[The Queen] always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay, and that just shows her love for her family.” Kate went on to discuss how the Queen was particularly enamoured with Princess Charlotte, eight.

The Royals are a staple at the Wimbledon tennis tournament each year. Some of those in attendance this time around included The Prince and Princess of Wales and two of their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But the proud parents probably weren’t expecting their decision to dress their eldest in a classic suit to cause quite such a stir.

As for Charlotte, she sported a blue-and-white printed dress with a white cardigan and shades while seated next to her mom. The siblings weren't joined by their younger brother, Prince Louis, who is known for his hilarious facial expressions at public events.

Princess Charlotte has arrived at Wimbledon with her parents Prince William and Kate Middleton for her first visit to the tournament as the family take their seats to watch Novak Djokovic try to win a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon title.The young Princess wore a blue dress, and held her mother, the Princess of Wales’, as the pair walked slightly ahead of Prince William and Prince George.The four of them will take their seats in the Royal Box in Centre Court in time to see the Serb play Spanish world number one Carlos Alcaraz, 20, at 2pm.This is Kate’s third time visiting the tennis championship this year, and she arrived this time wearing a green dress by Roland Mouret. The princess attended the women's final on Saturday and consoled a tearful Ons Jabeur after the Tunisian lost the ladies’ singles final against Czech player Marketa Vondrousova.

Wimbledon was the place to be for celebrities this weekend, and Kate Middleton and the royal family were the stars of the show. The Princess of Wales wore a green Roland Mouret dress, according to People, for the event.  The outlet also noted she accessorized with a bow pin in dark green and purple, the color of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, a royal patronage she received from Queen Elizabeth II in 2016.
