On the climax of Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s visit to Jamaica as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee, the British royals dipped into the past. Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, attended a special military parade for service members who recently completed the Caribbean Military Academy’s Officer Training Program. Prince William and Kate dressed in white for the occasion, with the Duke of Cambridge donning his formal military uniform. Together, they stood on the back of a dark green open-top Land Rover – the spitting image of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip when they visited Kingston, Jamaica, in November 1953.

William went for a traditional look in a black tuxedo. Amid ongoing protests surrounding the royals' visit and outspoken coalitions seeking to make Jamaica a republic and to remove the queen as the head of state, William gave a speech at the dinner, condemning Britain's role in slavery in Jamaica. «I strongly agree with my father, The Prince of Wales, who said in Barbados last year that the appalling atrocity of slavery forever stains our history,» William said of his father, Prince Charles.

Kate Middleton dazzled in a green dress and she and Prince William attended another evening reception on their Caribbean tour.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were attending a state dinner at the home of Jamaica’s Governor General in Kingston. Kate, 40, wore a stunning emerald green off the shoulder gown by Jenny Packham for the event as well as royal jewels borrowed from the Queen – including emerald and diamond earrings, a simple bracelet and her Royal Family Order and GVCO star. The Duchess wore her hair in a stylish updo and kept her make-up simple, as part of a look that was very different to the trouser suit she wore to meet Jamaica’s prime minister elsewhere on the couple’s trip.

Prince William, 39, and Kate Middleton, 40, showed off some pretty impressive dance moves on their royal tour of the Caribbean. The pair visited the village of Hopkins in Belize on Sunday, March 20, and had a blast with dancers of the Garifuna community. William, who honored Belize’s royal color by wearing a blue button down and blue pants, danced away with a local woman.

Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed their first full day of their Caribbean tour with a visit to a cacao farm in Belize on Sunday.  Their visit replaced another planned outing to a different cacao farm, which was canceled on Friday after villagers protested the royal’s arrival.  According to local reports, a protest was staged on Friday opposing the royal visit to Akte ’il Ha cacao farm in Indian Creek village in the foothills of the Maya Mountains. Belize news outlet Channel 7 reported that there was a dispute between village residents and Flora and Fauna International, a conservation charity William supports as patron.
