Kate Middleton may be the future Queen of Britain but even she has to abide by a strict set of rules that all working members of the Royal Family must follow.
While Meghan Markle may have struggled with a few of the firm restrictions laid out by the institution, the Princess of Wales appears to have largely taken them in her stride over the years.
Whether it's chatting politely with members of the public, entertaining some of the biggest names in global diplomacy or always being the best dressed for formal occasions, the Princess is known for being the picture of royal professionalism.
However, some of the strict royal rules she has to follow are rather abnormal and somewhat restrictive on her everyday life, the Express reports.

The Princess of Wales is warned to avoid eating risky foods in public as per the royal guidelines and there are some dishes she must just avoid altogether.
For example, shellfish is not advised as it could give her food poisoning whilst carbs are also banned as the late Queen Elizabeth was allegedly not a big fan of pasta or potatoes.
Foie Gras, which is a dish made from the liver of a duck or a goose, is apparently forbidden as well after the-then Prince Charles banned the delicacy in 2008 due to animal welfare concerns.
While there are no official rules that forbid public displays of affection, casual touches from strangers are a huge taboo for senior members of the Royal Family.
