Kate was a vision in white, as she wore a chic boucle jacket with black trims and buttons, whilst her pleated midi-skirt swayed around her as she walked.
On her feet, she donned a pair of her favourite Aquazzura heels in black - which her estranged sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, has also been seen in previously. A black quilted clutch bag and drop pearl earrings completed Kate's look, and she beamed as she attended the gallery, with her brown hair styled in loose waves.The Princess of Wales was at the National Portrait Gallery to re-open it, following a three-year refurbishment programme, which started in 2020.
Kate's appearance at the gallery was her latest in a matter of days, after she stood alongside the rest of the senior royals at the annual Trooping the Colour parade over the weekend, which is the first of King Charles' reign.There, she looked fabulous in a striking green outfit, with a dress designed by Andrew Gn and a matching hat by Philip Treacy.To accessorise, Kate wore dazzling sapphire earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. It is believed that the Princess chose the green outfit to pay homage to her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, as she also wore the Irish Guards Shamrock Brooch which includes a single emerald placed at the centre of the shamrock.
