Princess Kate Middleton has answered questions about her cancer diagnosis, type and treatment length.
The Princess of Wales is focusing on 'making a full recovery' after tests found traces of cancer. Kate, 42, announced that she is undergoing the early stages of preventative chemotherapy after tests following her abdominal surgery in January discovered cancer present.
The difficult news came as a 'huge shock', the mother-of-three said in her emotional and heartfelt televised statement. The future queen spoke of an "incredibly tough couple of months" for the Royal Family and bravely shared that she is "getting stronger every day".

Kensington Palace has addressed some of the questions that people have about the princess' well-being, diagnosis and treatment plan as she prioritises her health and family.
In a recorded message to the public, Kate said: "It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I've had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful. In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful.", reports the Mirror.
"However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."
